About the role
The SAP iXp Intern - Americas LoB Field Marketing position is part of SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program designed to provide university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. Responsibilities
- Aid in the management and execution of various field marketing events, both SAP-hosted and third-party sponsored, both physical and virtual.
- Assist with the management and execution of other field marketing campaigns focused on paid media lead-generation tactics, customer community-building programs, and more.
- Learn and utilize SAP’s internal tools and processes to assist with campaign execution steps such as creating event invitations, building event registration pages, uploading interactions and responders post-campaign, purchasing orders, and more.
- Design, manage, and send marketing newsletters to sales stakeholders.
- Create and manage written communications for both internal and external audiences.
- Work with and manage agency resources for campaign execution.
- Utilize SAP analytics tools to access, analyze, and report on the results of marketing plans and tactics.
- Develop research projects focusing on areas such as competitor analysis, market analysis, and internal process improvement.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is proactive, resilient, and eager to learn. You should have a strong interest in marketing, particularly B2B marketing, the technology industry, and a long-term career at SAP. You should also have a current enrollment or recent graduation from a business-related degree or focus in Marketing or Communications.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a business-related degree or focus in Marketing or Communications.
- Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (within 6 months of graduation).
- Experience in marketing, sales, and/or event management is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High levels of tenacity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Skills
Self-learning ability, asking questions, operating with autonomy within a team environment, project management and organizational skills, and proficiency in marketing and event management tools.

Pay
The targeted annual combined range for this position is $15,000 - $62,000.
Schedule
Full-time 40 hours/week.
