SAP Indirect Tax Technology Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Indirect Tax Technology Lead for a remote opportunity based in the USA. The role involves ownership of SAP tax architecture, tax engine integration, and VAT/GST determination design.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of SAP tax architecture and tax engine integration
• Design of VAT/GST determination processes

Requirements

• 8+ years of SAP indirect tax experience
• Hands-on involvement in multiple SAP implementation programs
• Strong SAP S/4HANA expertise
• Experience with OneSource, Vertex, Avalara, or similar tax engines
• Proven ability to design VAT/GST determination processes
• Deep understanding of SAP tax integration architecture

SAP Knowledge

• Strong functional understanding of SAP FI, SAP MM, SAP SD
• SAP Central Finance (preferred)
• SAP Business Partner
• Tax Configuration Frameworks

Preferred Background

• Experience in global SAP S/4HANA transformation programs
• Exposure to FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail, or Consumer Products industries
• Multi-country indirect tax implementations
• OneSource Indirect Tax Determination expertise
• SAP OneSource global template design experience
