SAP HCM Payroll Support Analyst

About the Role

The SAP HCM Payroll Support Analyst is an SAP functional analyst position responsible for SAP/SuccessFactors production support and ongoing development, with a focus on Employee Central Payroll (ECP). The role may also involve supporting systems that interface with ECP.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives and projects by partnering with business owners to perform process analysis, gather business requirements, and document enhancement specifications aligned with company goals.
• Provide support for Barton Malow’s SAP/SuccessFactors systems, including custom functionality and releases/upgrades.
• Perform payroll configuration tasks to meet new or changing business requirements.
• Collaborate with SAP Developers and other SAP HCM Analysts to debug system issues and deliver custom development and enhancements.
• Lead unit, integration, and user acceptance testing for SAP/SuccessFactors functionality, including developing test plans, test cases, staging test data, and documenting results.
• Partner with Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Technology, and Field Services to deliver solutions and optimize payroll systems and processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting SAP ECC/S4 Payroll or SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll and BSI Tax Factory.
• Knowledge and experience with GL posting.
• Experience with full lifecycle projects, upgrades, and releases.
• Understanding of end-to-end payroll processing, tax laws, and labor laws.
• Proficiency in payroll configuration, including schemas, PCRs, functions, and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in construction or industrial industries.
• Experience supporting unions.

Work Environment

Travel for project assignments may be required based on company needs.
