SAP FI Analyst

About the role

Provides expert level business process guidance on Navy ERP's SAP requirements and design. Applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing, configuring, and optimizing the SAP FI module to meet customer requirements
• Collaborating with stakeholders to support posting periods
• Implementing system enhancements
• Ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules
• Providing leadership to large teams of functional or technical personnel

Requirements

• 10 or more years of SAP experience
• Subject matter expertise in the SAP Financial Accounting (SAP FI)
• Strong understanding of FI-CO integration with logistics modules
• Organizational and communication skills to gather business requirements from the client for developing reports, interfaces, and enhancements
• Bachelor’s degree in a recognized technical engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise. Additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree
• Active secret DoD clearance

Qualifications

• Expertise in SAP FI
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of and experience with DoD and/or Navy ERP and IT architecture
• Federal experience
• Understanding of change management processes
• Experience in the software development lifecycle surrounding requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, test (unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance), implementation, and post-production support of standard and custom business solutions
