SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Manager – Utilities
About the role
We are the industry leader in building SAP solutions and are expanding our SAP team with advisory skills to drive transformation at scale for our clients. The Utilities industry is undergoing significant transformation, and our clients are seeking help to build SAP solutions that support AI growth, monetization, and AI-backed business models. As a Manager in our SAP practice, you will lead SAP-based Finance Transformation projects, helping clients innovate with leading-edge SAP and Accenture Finance solutions. Responsibilities
- Engage with senior client executives to address business challenges and demonstrate the value of SAP solutions.
- Lead clients in defining their SAP journey by developing business cases, roadmaps, and presentations during sales origination and proposal development.
- Architect end-to-end Finance solutions leveraging SAP technologies, custom apps, and partner solutions.
- Explain SAP’s Business AI strategy, including its capabilities and roadmap, and identify functional areas where AI can deliver value.
- Deploy AI use cases within SAP delivery to improve efficiency and articulate how AI-driven improvements enhance project delivery.
- Advise, design, and deliver Finance solutions based on the latest industry and technology best practices using SAP solutions and embedded innovation.
- Lead large project teams of varying sizes and scopes to achieve transformational roadmaps, either onsite with clients or within Accenture.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, teams, and Accenture leadership by staying current on regulations, trends, and innovations in your area of expertise.
- Act as a thought leader by building assets, best practices, and developing the next generation of transformation experts.
Travel may be required for this role, ranging from 0% to 100% depending on business needs and client requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of SAP functional/technical expertise in SAP Asset and Work Management, including Asset Management, Maintenance Notifications, Work Order Management (Preventive, Corrective, Capital), Planning and Scheduling, Asset Hierarchies, Asset master data, material planning, and integration with Finance, Inventory, Mobile, and Plant Accounting solutions. (SAP support/managed services experience will not be considered for this requirement.)
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience configuring and implementing SAP Asset and Work Management processes, developing workflows, and designing business solutions for utilities work (e.g., preventive maintenance programs for linear assets, Compatible Unit Designs with Account designations). (SAP support/managed services experience will not be considered for this requirement.)
- Minimum of 2 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementations, including project planning, estimation, and solution architecture for Utilities or other Resources clients.
- Experience managing SAP delivery teams in a Global Delivery model.
- Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 7 years of work experience).
Pay
Compensation at Accenture varies based on factors such as location, role, skill set, and experience. Below are the annual salary ranges for this role by location:
- California: $94,400 to $293,800
- Cleveland: $87,400 to $235,000
- Colorado: $94,400 to $253,800
- District of Columbia: $100,500 to $270,300
- Illinois: $87,400 to $253,800
- Maine: $80,400 to $216,200
- Maryland: $94,400 to $253,800
- Massachusetts: $94,400 to $270,300
- Minnesota: $94,400 to $253,800
- New York: $87,400 to $293,800
- New Jersey: $100,500 to $293,800
- Virginia: $87,400 to $270,300
- Washington: $100,500 to $270,300
