About the role
This role supports a multi-year, enterprise SAP S/4HANA business transformation by coordinating a portfolio of initiatives across Business Owners, SAP/IT teams, and third-party partners. It focuses on end-to-end Data management capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Data Workstream Planning and Execution
- Ensure scope, deliverables and execution plans are established, communicated and monitored across multiple data, analytics and reporting workstreams
- Master Data Management and Governance
- Data Migration
- SAP Data Design
- Reporting and Analytics
- Drive coordination and progress across Data workstreams
- Identify dependencies across workstreams
- Manage Data milestones within integrated project plan
- Ensure JIRA details and dependences are complete for each workstream
- Monitor weekly progress with Scrum Masters and Data team leads
- Business Owner & Process Owner Engagement
- Partner with Business Owners and Enterprise Process Owners to clarify objectives, scope, success measures, and decision ownership across Data workstreams
- Build EPO and business participation plans with Data leads
- Track business participation commitments and identify capacity or engagement risks
- Support cross-functional alignment when priorities or dependencies conflict
- SAP / IT Coordination
- Work closely with SAP, Data and IT teams to align priorities
- Provide visibility into Data delivery progress, risks, and dependencies impacting business readiness
- Ensure integration across process, data, reporting, and technology considerations at the portfolio level including customer, pricing, billing, and financial integration points
- Carefully coordinate with System Integrators and third-party partners to ensure alignment to program governance standards
- Track high-level partner deliverables, dependencies, and risks
- Support issue escalation and reinforce expectations for quality, documentation, and knowledge transfer
- Business Readiness & Adoption
- Support enterprise-level business readiness activities, including readiness baselining, planning, milestone tracking, and participation in design, testing, and training
- Partner with Data, Change, Training, and Communications leads to align readiness activities across initiatives
- Identify and escalate readiness risks related to timing, capacity, or adoption
- Risk, Dependency & Value Tracking
- Maintain a portfolio-level view of risks, issues, and cross-initiative dependencies
- Support tracking of business benefits, KPIs, and value realization
- Shift reporting from task completion to business capability and outcome visibility
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8+ years project/program management experience, including 3–5 years supporting SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA) transformations with focus on Data management
- Experience working with business leaders, IT teams, and system integrators
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Data processes
- Able to manage cross-functional dependencies and readiness risks
- Direct experience supporting Data management in an SAP environment
