SAP Data Program Manager

About the role

This role supports a multi-year, enterprise SAP S/4HANA business transformation by coordinating a portfolio of initiatives across Business Owners, SAP/IT teams, and third-party partners. It focuses on end-to-end Data management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Data Workstream Planning and Execution
• Ensure scope, deliverables and execution plans are established, communicated and monitored across multiple data, analytics and reporting workstreams
• Master Data Management and Governance
• Data Migration
• SAP Data Design
• Reporting and Analytics
• Drive coordination and progress across Data workstreams
• Identify dependencies across workstreams
• Manage Data milestones within integrated project plan
• Ensure JIRA details and dependences are complete for each workstream
• Monitor weekly progress with Scrum Masters and Data team leads
• Business Owner & Process Owner Engagement
• Partner with Business Owners and Enterprise Process Owners to clarify objectives, scope, success measures, and decision ownership across Data workstreams
• Build EPO and business participation plans with Data leads
• Track business participation commitments and identify capacity or engagement risks
• Support cross-functional alignment when priorities or dependencies conflict
• SAP / IT Coordination
• Work closely with SAP, Data and IT teams to align priorities
• Provide visibility into Data delivery progress, risks, and dependencies impacting business readiness
• Ensure integration across process, data, reporting, and technology considerations at the portfolio level including customer, pricing, billing, and financial integration points
• Carefully coordinate with System Integrators and third-party partners to ensure alignment to program governance standards
• Track high-level partner deliverables, dependencies, and risks
• Support issue escalation and reinforce expectations for quality, documentation, and knowledge transfer
• Business Readiness & Adoption
• Support enterprise-level business readiness activities, including readiness baselining, planning, milestone tracking, and participation in design, testing, and training
• Partner with Data, Change, Training, and Communications leads to align readiness activities across initiatives
• Identify and escalate readiness risks related to timing, capacity, or adoption
• Risk, Dependency & Value Tracking
• Maintain a portfolio-level view of risks, issues, and cross-initiative dependencies
• Support tracking of business benefits, KPIs, and value realization
• Shift reporting from task completion to business capability and outcome visibility

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 8+ years project/program management experience, including 3–5 years supporting SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA) transformations with focus on Data management
• Experience working with business leaders, IT teams, and system integrators
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Data processes
• Able to manage cross-functional dependencies and readiness risks
• Direct experience supporting Data management in an SAP environment
