About the role
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a SAP CPI Integration Migration Architect on behalf of our client in Boston, MA.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end migration of integrations from legacy integration platforms to SAP Integration Suite (SAP CPI).
- Analyze existing integration landscapes, business processes, connectors, and workflows to define migration strategies and implementation plans.
- Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and high-performing SAP CPI iFlows.
- Architect enterprise integration solutions aligned with SAP BTP Integration Suite best practices.
- Develop and support integrations using SAP CPI adapters, message mappings, Groovy scripts, and XSLT transformations.
- Design and implement enterprise integration patterns, including Point-to-Point, Hub-and-Spoke, Publish-Subscribe, and API-led architectures.
- Build and maintain integrations utilizing REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, HTTP, IDOC, and JDBC protocols and adapters.
- Implement data mapping and transformation solutions across XML, JSON, CSV, and EDI formats.
- Ensure secure integration practices through authentication, authorization, certificates, and cloud security standards.
- Lead technical design sessions, architecture reviews, and cross-functional collaboration efforts.
- Provide technical leadership, best practices, and guidance to development and integration teams.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues and drive performance optimization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 14+ years of overall IT experience with a strong background in enterprise application integration.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in integration architecture, design, and development.
- Proven experience leading large-scale integration migration programs involving SAP Integration Suite (SAP CPI).
- Deep expertise in SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP, and API Management.
- Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise integration architectures and patterns.
- Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, HTTP, IDOC, and JDBC integrations.
- Strong knowledge of data transformation and mapping technologies across multiple data formats.
- Experience with Groovy scripting, XSLT, and message mapping within SAP CPI.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Integration Suite or related SAP certifications.
- Experience with cloud integration and digital transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience supporting large, complex enterprise environments.
