Duties and Responsibilities
- Technical Architecture & Integration Design
- Define and document the end-to-end technical architecture for SAP Concur implementation.
- Design and oversee system integrations between SAP Concur and:
- Monitoring systems
- Reimbursement and financial systems
- Travel claim audit services
- Customer service support platforms
- Coordinate GDS connectivity and ensure seamless reservation data exchange.
- Develop interface control documents (ICDs) and data flow diagrams.
- Interface Development & Data Management
- Lead configuration and testing of inbound/outbound interfaces, including employee data, funding structures, cost centers, and reimbursement transactions.
- Perform field mapping, transformation logic validation, and data reconciliation.
- Support data migration activities, including user profiles, approval hierarchies, and historical travel data as required.
- Ensure secure authentication, role-based access controls, and compliance with IT security standards.
- Testing & Technical Validation
- Develop and execute technical test plans for System Integration Testing (SIT).
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by resolving interface defects and validating data accuracy.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot integration or data transmission issues.
- Career with regression testing during configuration updates and system releases.
- Compliance, Controls & Security
- Ensure technical configurations align with Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) requirements and internal policies.
- Implement audit logging, traceability controls, and reporting capabilities to support travel claim audit services.
- Validate secure data exchange protocols and encryption standards for financial and personally identifiable information (PII).
- Deployment & Post-Go-Live Support
- Support cutover planning, production deployment, and environment migrations.
- Provide post-go-live technical stabilization and interface monitoring.
- Establish technical documentation and knowledge transfer for IT personnel.
- Minimum 5–7 years of technical implementation experience with SAP Concur Travel and Expense solutions.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise system integrations (APIs, flat file interfaces, middleware, or web services).
- Experience integrating SaaS solutions with financial, ERP, and monitoring systems.
- Strong knowledge of data mapping, transformation logic, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience supporting highly regulated federal or financial regulatory environments.
- Understanding of secure authentication, access controls, and enterprise IT security standards.
- Experience supporting federal financial oversight agencies or similar governance structures.
- Experience with large-scale travel programs supporting 2,000+ users and complex approval hierarchies.
- Familiarity with GDS integrations and enterprise financial system connectivity.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- CIP (Certified Implementation Partner) Certification Required.
