SAP Concur Expense Consultant

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support enterprise information systems and applications.
• Develop, analyze, design, test, and maintain information systems and applications supporting key business operations.
• Create program specifications, technical requirements, and detailed design documentation.
• Configure and support SAP Concur Travel & Expense solutions, including travel booking, expense management, reporting, and related processes.
• Participate in application design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement activities.
• Perform coding, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and technical analysis as needed.
• Support integrations between SAP Concur Expense and enterprise platforms such as ERP, HR, and CRM systems.
• Manage integrations with third-party applications, including travel assistance, fraud detection, risk management, and duty-of-care solutions.
• Configure and maintain credit card clearing processes within SAP Concur.
• Ensure system configurations align with Federal Travel Regulations (FTR), agency-specific policies, and compliance requirements.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions, facilitate design workshops, and translate business needs into effective system solutions.
• Provide technical support for infrastructure projects, production environments, and system enhancements.
• Recommend system upgrades, process improvements, and optimization opportunities.
• Support system testing, user training, deployment activities, and operational readiness efforts.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience implementing SAP Concur Travel & Expense solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP Concur configuration, including travel booking, expense management, reporting, and workflow processes.
• Experience integrating SAP Concur Expense with enterprise systems and third-party applications.
• Strong understanding of secure data exchange, system integrations, and application interoperability.
• Experience configuring SAP Concur solutions according to Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and government-specific travel policies.
• In-depth knowledge of Federal Travel Regulations and related compliance standards.
• Required SAP Concur Travel Implementation and Configuration certification.
• Experience supporting system testing, integration testing, deployments, and production environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lead workshops, gather requirements, and communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance due to contractual requirements.
