SAP ABAP Technology Architect
About the role
This position requires a key player in engaging with business/functional teams to provide best-fit technical solutions while adhering to client and Infosys development standards. Support knowledge transfer to provide value-adding consulting solutions that help clients adapt to the global landscape.
Responsibilities
- Engage with business/functional teams to provide best-fit technical solutions
- Support knowledge transfer to provide value-adding consulting solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP Fiori applications using SAP UI5 framework
- Develop and build application tables and reports for projects
- Troubleshoot and resolve testing issues
- Follow quality standards and conduct code reviews
- Manage releases
- Sit as well as work at a computer for extended periods of time
- Communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face
- Travel as per job requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution
- At least 7 years of SAP ABAP experience
- Hands-on development experience in RICEF and Core ABAP areas
- Experience in ALE/IDocs, SXDA, BDCs, BAPI, RFC Interfaces and File transfers
- Proficiency in Data Dictionary, debugging, and Performance Tuning
- Expertise in OO ABAP. Forms: Smart forms/Adobe forms
- Fiori App Development using the BAS Tool, RAP Programming, OData Services, Webservices, BTP, CDS View Addon
- Niche skills like PS, PPMO, SAP MES Applications
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
- Preferred Qualifications: Must have at least 7 years of SAP ABAP experience with specific technical skills and proficiency in various SAP modules.

Pay
Estimated annual compensation range for this role will vary based on location:
- In CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN, NJ: $96,000 to $134,400
- In Washington, DC: $85,600 to $129,000
Schedule
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
