SAP ABAP Developer – EHS/PCM (Remote)

We are looking for an SAP ABAP Developer with a focus on SAP EHS/Product Compliance Management (PCM) for a global aerospace company. This is a 4-month contract (extensions likely) in a remote, US-based role.

About the role

Design, develop, and support SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC technical solutions with a focus on SAP EHS/Product Compliance Management (PCM). Develop ABAP enhancements, RICEWF objects, interfaces, RAP applications, and integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-quality enterprise solutions supporting the Plan-to-Stock value stream.

Responsibilities

• Develop ABAP enhancements, forms, interfaces, and custom screen developments
• Create custom table generations and RAP applications
• Implement BADIs and other ABAP development objects
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to complex software applications driving business results
• Interface with CDATS or similar systems
• Work with master data and compliance rules within the SAP landscape
• Develop targeted reports, data exchange workarounds, and custom field implementations
• Handle SAP-related Bill of Material (BOM) processing
• Manage data integration and ETL processes
• Create CSV/XML import templates

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• 6+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Proven SAP design and development experience in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA systems
• Understanding of SAP PCM 2023 and SAP PCM 2025 (both FPS versions)
• Knowledge of SAP ECC PCM, SAP EHS, and compliance-domain awareness
• Experience with large-scale implementations
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead collaborative work

Desired Skills

• First-hand experience with classic SAP tools/skills such as Restful ABAP (RAP), ABAP Development Tools (ADT), ALV, Adobe Forms, ALE/IDOC, RFC/BAPI, BADI/enhancements, Workflow, LSMW/LTMC, CDS Views (Table Functions, Virtual Elements), AMDP, AIF, DRF
• Exposure to SAP tools/skills such as Fiori Launchpad, Fiori Elements, SAPUI5, JavaScript, GIT, WebIDE/BAS, and other SAP technologies
• Experience with integrations using SOAP via SOA Manager, OData, IDOCs, and Proxys
• Focused-build experience and RF screen development

Schedule

40-hour-per-week role with 4-day, 10-hour shifts.
