SAP ABAP/EWM Developer

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development and SAP EWM/SCM solutions.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, specifically in EWM and MM (Materials Management) modules.
• Proficiency in ABAP development including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF).
• Experience with SAP enhancement frameworks: User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Spots.
• Hands-on experience in customizing SAP EWM functionality using ABAP within S/4HANA.
• Skilled in debugging and issue resolution within EWM and MM-related areas.

SAP EWM Functional Experience (Required)

• Experience designing and optimizing SAP workflows for MM and EWM business processes.
• Deep understanding of SAP EWM, MM, and IM processes, configurations, and functions.
• Expertise in ABAP Object-Oriented Programming and modern ABAP practices.

SAP EWM Technical Experience (Required)

• Proven experience in architecting SAP EWM and SCM solutions.
• Knowledge of configuring SAP EWM and integrating it with SD, MM-IM, PP, and 3PL systems.
• Experience with RF Framework setup, barcode scanners, labels, and printing solutions.
• Familiarity with EDI/IDoc interfaces for logistics and vendor communications.
• Experience with MES systems and Post Processing Framework (PPF).
• Proficiency in SAP Fiori apps and UI5 development for warehouse management.
• Experience with automation technologies such as AGVs and robotics within the SAP EWM landscape.
• Ability to develop custom solutions and contribute to technical architecture at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and technical expertise in designing end-to-end SAP S/4HANA warehouse solutions.
• Conduct workshops to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into SAP EWM processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP EWM processes and system interfaces.
• Monitor queues and address day-to-day production support issues.
• Implement custom EWM solutions including RF mobile transactions, warehouse flows, and automation integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to enhance warehouse operations through automation technologies (e.g., robotics, RFID).
• Train and support end-users on SAP EWM functionalities and system usage.
