Santa Claus Actor - Knott's Merry Farm

About the role

Knott’s Merry Farm is seeking individuals to portray Santa Claus, a whimsical holiday character who engages with park guests through storytelling and performance.

Responsibilities

• Vocally improvise and stay in character for extended periods
• Create the magic of the North Pole for families celebrating the season
• Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of holiday stories and traditions
• Engage with park guests using holiday stories as a basis
• Perform multiple days a week from November 20, 2026 - December 24, 2026
• Commit to training beginning in early November
• Work as part of a team to achieve overall atmosphere and goals set by Entertainment leadership and show directors
• Perform in a professional and artistic manner while remaining in character
• Provide guest service according to Six Flags standards
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area
• Adhere to Six Flags Safety guidelines and report all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision
• Fulfill attendance requirements as outlined in the Six Flags attendance policies
• Follow Six Flags Rules of Conduct, including specific costuming and grooming standards
• Work all assigned rehearsal and event dates, including weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays
• Act experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide record of previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual performers are a plus
• Willingness and ability to wear heavy make-up for extended periods
