About the role

JBS Lenoir is hiring quality, motivated individuals to join the JBS sanitation team as general laborers. The position involves cleaning and sanitizing all production lines each night.

Responsibilities

• To clean and sanitize machinery and floors in a production line setting
• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around assigned area
• Set up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
• Maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areas
• Operate heavy equipment
• Work at high speed and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Stoop and bend at the waist repeatedly
• Use proper personal protective equipment effectively
• Work in a very cold, damp environment
• Exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives
• Slippery floors, cold temperatures, and loud ambient noise

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to stoop and bend at the waist repeatedly
• Must use proper personal protective equipment effectively
