Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleaning all auditoriums prior to opening for business
• Ensuring all lobby and hallway areas are properly cleaned prior to opening for business
• Ensuring all restrooms are clean and stocked prior to opening for business
• Maintaining cleanliness of the janitorial closet area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and stocked with needed supplies
• Reporting any facility damage found to the General Manager
• Securing and reporting any found items to management
• Maintaining building security by securing and disabling the alarm system as required
• Maintaining security of non-public areas by arming, disarming, and operating the alarm system as necessary
• Absorbing and abiding by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods
• Having knowledge of and understanding all safety and emergency procedures

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial experience preferred
• Effectively communicate in both oral and written form with management staff
• Listen effectively, respond clearly, and explain information to others
• Identify problems, gather relevant data, recognize causes of problems, evaluate information, recognize alternatives, and implement solutions
• Work under pressure and/or opposition
• Interface effectively with co-workers and exhibit sensitivity to the feelings of others
• Perform tasks with minimal supervision

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaching with hands and arms, talking, and hearing
• Sometimes stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Occasionally lifting up to 60 lbs
• Close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision, along with the ability to adjust focus

Shifts

Shifts will be early mornings, 6am-10am.
