Sanitation Worker

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, full-time Sanitation Technician to maintain cleanliness standards comparable to a hospital environment. Positions are available on both day and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow a daily checklist to clean Dry, Refrigerated, and Freezer warehouse areas by section (aisle, dock, etc.)
• Operate floor scrubbers to sanitize all floor surfaces
• Use high-reach scissor lifts to clean refrigeration units, racking, walls, and ceilings
• Operate pallet jacks to move product for cleaning access
• Use pressure washers for deep-cleaning tasks
• Work in tight spaces, enclosed areas, and varying temperatures
• Scrape, scrub, wash, and sanitize all surfaces and areas as needed
• Respond promptly to spills and resolve them effectively
• Inspect, clean, and replace pest-control devices throughout the facility
• Maintain offices, breakrooms, and restrooms
• Use a full range of cleaning agents, chemicals, and equipment (scrubbers, mops, sweepers, brooms, quick-dry systems, vacuums, etc.)
• Perform any additional sanitation duties as assigned
• Ensure the daily sanitation and overall cleanliness of the entire facility

Requirements

• Good communication skills; ability to understand and follow directions
• Flexibility and reliability
• Ability to work positively as part of a team
• Familiarity with janitorial tasks and housekeeping skills
