Sanitation Technician - Fostoria Union

Location: Fostoria, OH

Schedule: Full-Time, Shift as Assigned (overtime as required)

Responsibilities

• Performing sanitation and cleaning activities throughout the facility.
• Ensuring designated production and non-production areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Removing flour accumulation through blow-down and vacuuming procedures.
• Cleaning and maintaining break rooms, restrooms, and other assigned areas.
• Emptying trash and recycling containers.
• Operating sanitation-related equipment and facility equipment such as pallet jacks and straight trucks.
• Following all GMP, OSHA, HACCP, GFSI, FSMA, food safety, sanitation, and company safety requirements while maintaining an audit-ready facility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work assignments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
