Sanitation Technician - Day Shift

About the role

A member of the Sanitation department within the food service division at Lyons Magnus, an international food and beverage manufacturer headquartered in Fresno, California. The Sanitation Technician supports the production team during clean-up and idle periods. Weekend work is required, as is a flexible work schedule that may change at any time upon management discretion. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and/or Sanitation Lead.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of the facility inside and grounds outside.
• Perform tasks as required to comply with the master sanitation plan for the facility, including operating the facility floor scrubber, foaming equipment, walls, mopping, or other cleaning duties.
• Documentation of cleaning results and issues that may arise.
• Organize, control, order, stock, and ensure availability of sanitation and lab supplies. Notify QA manager of issues in maintaining stock.
• Pull retains for complaint investigations, documenting and maintaining chain of custody.
• Enter work orders in CCMS and ensure effective close-out of findings from Hydrite audits.
• Other duties and responsibilities as directed by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible work schedule; must be able to work weekends, some holidays, and overtime. Schedule may change at any time upon management discretion.
• Strict adherence to the Lyons Magnus attendance policy.

Pay

$22.00 per hour

Schedule

• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.

Location: Westlake, OH. No travel requirements. Work environment: Production environment within a manufacturing facility.
