Sanitation Technician

Responsibilities

• Washing and sanitizing equipment, machinery in a food manufacturing facility
• Sweeping and performing janitorial duties

Requirements

• Steadiness with your arm and hand to grasp things and assemble some equipment
• Ability to measure cleaning liquids with water
• Ability to read instructions and labels
• Use of whole body including bending over, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping over, and using both arms
• Ability to get along well with others and remain calm under pressure
• Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted

Qualifications

• Experience in sanitation or janitorial industry is encouraged
• Experience in the food industry is encouraged
