About the role

C&W Services is the industry leader in cutting-edge maintenance and janitorial programs for facilities ranging from corporate office portfolios to manufacturing plants and large public venues. This role involves maintaining these facilities by keeping them running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment.
  • Follow PJHA process, observation process, and comply with all company/site safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Sanitize and clean assigned areas according to master cleaning schedules and procedures.
  • Operate skid steer loaders, scissors lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and hand/power tools.
  • Communicate effectively with team lead, supervisor, and customers to complete assigned tasks and build good customer relations.
  • Maintain adherence to the published work schedule and be available for overtime as needed.
  • Perform tasks from elevated areas using fall protection equipment when necessary.
  • Report unresolved work issues, personnel issues, and employee complaints to supervisor.
  • Work all shifts including holidays and weekends as required.
  • Perform other tasks as defined by the company and/or customer.
  • Ensure compliance with all company/customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Achieve performance expectations set forth in performance appraisals and participate in employee development planning.
  • Accurately and timely complete administrative duties such as time accounting and work order completion.
  • Maintain positive customer and employee relations.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2 years in industrial cleaning preferred but not required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to observe details at close range, control precision, manual dexterity, substantial lifting up to 50 pounds, move for extended periods, ascend/descend stairs/ladders/steps, operate hand/tools/power tools, operate forklifts, wear respirator, and perform job duties from elevated areas.
  • Work Environment: Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high/precarious places, fumes/toxic chemicals, risk of electrical shock/vibration, extreme heat/cold/wet/humid conditions, and noise levels.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

  • Proficiency in operating various cleaning equipment.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.

Pay

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

6am - 4:30pm, Wednesday - Saturday.
