Sanitation Technician
JOB SUMMARY
Disassemble, clean and assemble all plant food processing equipment by using high- and low-pressure hot water, corrosive chemicals and other cleaning equipment.
- Disassemble food-processing equipment as necessary.
- Clean equipment and overhead areas, using a variety of equipment, including high-pressure hot water hoses, chemicals, foamers, scrubbing equipment, etc.
- Reassemble equipment and prepare for the next day's food production.
- Frequently bend, lift, climb and twist throughout the work shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Dry pick up.
- Drain the fryer properly.
- Tear down the filter for cleaning.
- Gel the fryer, filter, and the conveyor.
- Foam the fryer, filter, and the conveyor.
- High pressure the room clean, checking for any deficiencies.
- Flush the fryer pipe and fill the fryer for the following days production.
- Set the fryer temperature.
- Boil the fryer once a week.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- High noise
- Variated temperatures (warm to cold)
- Slippery floors
- Moving equipment
- Dust may be present
QUALIFICATIONS
- Display positive attitude and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.
- Able to frequently bend, lift and twist.
- Must pass the company physical classification test for essential functions of the position.
