Key Responsibilities
- Clean floors, walls, ceilings and moving stock with chemicals
- Adhere to safety and chemical standards
- Sanitation tasks include interior and exterior
- Responsible for food safety by keeping facility areas clean
- Report food safety, food quality or plant safety issues in absence of Quality Manager
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Prior sanitation experience preferred
- Hear and follow verbal instructions
- Read, understand and follow verbal and written directions
- Good documentation skills
- Able to read, write and communicate effectively
- Ability to work in environments with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes/airborne particles, risk of electrical shock and vibration
- Exposure to high areas using scissor lift(s)
Work Environments/Physical Demands
- Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Reach, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl
- Occasionally lift/move 50 lbs
