Sanitation Supervisor

About the role

As our Site Sanitation Supervisor, you will provide complete management of the sanitation functions for the client facility. You will ensure that the sanitation of the facility is, without question, 100% and that your team will be the best trained and supported through utilization of best possible sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Interface with valued customer, meeting their daily requests and project planning, creating and dispersing required reports, and participating in plant audits
• Designate shift and area work assignments ensuring work is carried out in a proper and orderly manner
• Develop and maintain project lists for the project crew
• Provide on-the-job training
• Maintain all pertinent records, reports, and paperwork as needed
• Handle payroll including payroll reports
• Administer, supervise, and coordinate sanitation employees for Night shift—4 to 5 days per week
• Ensure the highest level of sanitation, safety, and quality for the products produced
• Monitor and evaluate plant sanitation practices, processes, and methods
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS)
• Attend meetings that have an impact on sanitation planning and effectiveness
• Support and implement processes and system improvements to continually provide the lowest cost, highest quality, and on-time delivery initiatives while maintaining optimum sanitary conditions
• Develop and recommend facility and equipment improvements and cleaning procedures

Requirements

• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
• USDA experience is a plus
• Microsoft Office and general computer competency
• Ability to work independently and work effectively under strict time constraints
• Ability to work weekends and different shifts from time to time based on customer needs
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Schedule

Night shift—4 to 5 days per week
