Sanitation Supervisor - 3rd shift

About the role

Tyson Foods is seeking a dedicated individual to join our 3rd shift team at Waterloo KPR. This position is a salaried role with a starting salary based on experience and eligibility for annual incentive pay of 5%. Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises sanitation/cleaning of plant production equipment and facilities
• Ensures adherence to food safety regulations and customer quality standards
• Trains and appraises team members and contractors
• Maintains sanitation quality and efficiency
• Develops and documents cleaning procedures
• Coordinates with vendors and R&D on sanitation issues
• Ensures compliance with safety rules and PPE usage
• Communicates with Maintenance to address quality and productivity concerns
• Works independently and collaboratively on special projects
• Complies with company policies and guidelines

Requirements

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience in the food industry
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• HACCP certification preferred
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety manuals and MSDS
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Reside in the United States
