Sanitation Supervisor - 3rd Shift
About the role
Supervises and develops sanitation procedures of production machinery, facility, and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Monitors sanitation cleaning procedures.
- Maintains employees’ relations including hiring, training, and disciplining.
- Instructs and coaches employees to properly use protective equipment.
- Develops new sanitation procedures and protocol.
- Ensures proper safety procedures are used by sanitation employees.
- Trains all employees in good safety and health practices.
- Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility.
Requirements
- 3+ years Sanitation experience is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Basic PC skills are required.
- English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
Working Conditions: Refrigerated food manufacturing plant; environment may be wet or dry with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F; frequent exposure to hazardous material and waste; frequent lifting, kneeling, and bending with items up to 80 lbs.; repetitive hand, wrist and finger activities.
Skills
