Sanitation - Shipping

Responsibilities

• Completes all assigned tasks, including performing Safety training modules.
• Operates and obtains certification for required equipment to perform janitorial and cleaning duties.
• Performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks in warehouse facilities (including dry, cooler, and freezer areas) and office areas as directed.
• Carries out general cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pickup, and using a compactor.
• Handles and uses cleaning chemicals as directed in the hazmat guide.
• Ensures all work is completed according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports any unsafe conditions or acts immediately.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 3 – 6 Months of experience in general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work.
