Sanitation Position-1st shift

POSITION SUMMARY: Wholesale Produce Supply's may have just the part time job you are looking for! We have two openings! If you have the qualifications and competencies we are looking for, we will train the perfect candidate.POSITION SPECIFICSCompensation Information: $17/hourSchedule/Shift Information: Monday through Friday 7:30am until finished, occasional Saturdays.Benefits: Medical, Dental, FSA, Life/STD Insurance, 401K and Paid time off.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEUnderstand, develop, and refine sanitation SSOPs in order to develop training capability, as well as implementing best practicesCleaning and Sanitizing of production equipment, and the entire facilityMonitor and verify the effectiveness of sanitationIdentify, report, and problem solve conditions or practices that may compromise food safety or overall sanitation effectivenessOther duties as assigned by managementREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSAbility to be a productive team member in both formal and informal settings.Strong attention to detail and tenacious follow-upExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilitiesAbility to accept responsibility and account for his/her actionsAbility to perform work accurately and thoroughly PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSPrevious sanitation experience preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSBe able to stand, walk, twist, turn, bend, the entire shiftLift up to 40lbsAbility to wear personal protection equipment (PPE)- Masks, goggles, aprons, hairnets, bootsMust be able to work 35-38 degree temperatures Qualified applicants will be considered for this exciting and rewarding position with a successful and growing company in Minneapolis.
