Sanitation 1st shift

About the role

Performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks in a warehouse facility, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas. May also clean office areas as assigned. Duties may include operating a pallet jack to transport refuse or trash to appropriate receptacles.

General cleaning duties include sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pickup, and use of a compactor. May require working with cleaning chemicals. Follows all safety rules and completes duties as assigned based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports any unsafe conditions or acts immediately to ensure safety.
• Operates all required equipment safely and is certified as needed.
• Performs cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Completes all assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
• Completes all assignments accurately and on schedule.
• Complies with all company policies and standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 0–6 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pallet jack experience.
