About the role

We are seeking candidates to join our team in the Plymouth, IN location. The Dot’s Pretzels brand is experiencing significant growth and we are looking for enthusiastic and reliable employees to help maintain our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing common areas or processing rooms by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and emptying trash as needed.
• Inventory and stocking of supply rooms as needed.
• Filling proportions with cleaning chemicals as needed.
• Operating hand jacks, manlifts, boom, floor scrubbers, KaiVacs, and other cleaning equipment as required.
• Periodic deep cleaning of facilities as per 3rd party audits and instructions from the Sanitation Manager.
• Understanding and implementing 5S programs.
• Documenting all cleaning activities.
• Cleaning computer stations, control panels, extruder motors/gear boxes, electrical cabinets, exterior electrical lines, containers/carts, ladders, fan filters/vents, walls/floor mats, sink area/wash pit, mixer platforms, die storage room, pump station, and scales in the processing area.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old at time of hire.
• High school diploma or GED.
• One month related experience or training.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Physical condition to perform tasks assigned.
• Standing, walking, reaching, lifting up to 25 lbs frequently, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to wear necessary safety equipment such as eye safety glasses, side shields, hearing protection, and hair/beard nets.

Benefits

• Starting pay of $21.16/hr with biweekly pay.

Schedule

• Night shift available.
• Shifts are 12 hours long (6pm-6am).
• Plant operates on various schedules based on candidate preference and plant needs.
• Typically works 3-4 days per week.

Pay

• $21.16/hr starting wage.
