Sanitation - Plymouth, IN

About the role

This role is located in Plymouth, IN and involves cleaning and sanitizing either the common areas of the plant or the processing room.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and stock supply rooms as needed
• Filling proportions with cleaning chemicals as needed
• Operating hand jacks, manlift and boom, floor scrubber, KaiVac and other cleaning equipment as required
• Periodic deep cleaning of facilities as outlined by 3rd party audit requirements and as instructed by the Sanitation Manager
• Understanding 5 S programs
• Cleaning all computer stations, control panels, extruder motors/gear boxes, electrical cabinets (exterior), electrical lines, containers/carts, ladders, fan filters/vents, walls/floor mats, sink area/wash pit, mixer platforms, die storage room, pump station, and scales in the processing area

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire
• High School diploma or GED
• One-month related experience or training

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals

Pay

Starting at $21.16/hr. Biweekly pay.
