Sanitation Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve sanitation program to ensure compliance and effectiveness
• Maintain and update Master Sanitation Schedule
• Provide direction, training, education, and technical support to ensure effective deployment of sanitation policies and procedures
• Work with plant to ensure compliance with all relevant food regulations, company programs, procedures, and customer requirements
• Monitor emerging issues related to sanitation and food safety
• Manage chemical control within the sanitation department, working with plant chemical provider
• Support food safety program, quality standards, and legality of manufactured products

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree preferred and/or 4+ years of experience in implementing sanitation programs
• 4+ years of management experience preferred
• GFSI, FDA, and State Department of Agriculture experience preferred
• HACCP and PCQI certification preferred
• Experience developing and managing to a budget preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Strong leadership, team-building, and coaching skills
• Ability to establish rapport quickly, communicate effectively, and think quickly under pressure
• Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to lead and support multiple projects

Qualifications

• Experience with sanitation programs, HACCP, GMPs, and food safety management systems
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and food safety standards
• Ability to manage budgets and resources

The salary range for this role is $108,196 to $125,000 annually, with additional benefits available.

The salary range for this role is $108,196 to $125,000 annually. Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
