Sanitation - CIP I - 3rd Shift 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning circuits, set up, and perform pipe swings
• In Fairport facility:
  • Check to ensure proper chlorine levels at coolers
  • Perform cream tank receiving, maintenance and cleaning
  • Maintain chemical equipment and deliver chemicals as requested
  • Clean drains, traps, and caps per cleaning schedule and as required
  • Perform standardized cleaning and procedures with caustic and other cleaning chemicals and assist with changeover of parts
  • Inspect all areas to ensure AIB standards are met and notify management of any concerns unable to be resolved
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
  • Complete MSS as assigned for daily, weekly, monthly tasks in Redzone

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• LO/TO, HAACP, HECP and chemical training required
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net if applicable, Kevlar gloves, safety glasses and leather skid‑resistant work shoes/boots)
• Ability to wear additional PPE while participating in a CIP (chemical suits, boots, face shield)
• Previous experience working with chemicals preferred but not required
• Ability to apply computer and communication skills, math functions, and reasoning
• Working conditions: ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to long periods of standing/moving, moving mechanical parts/conveyors, loud environment, hot/cold, wet/dry conditions, lifting/carrying, frequent reaching/pulling/climbing stairs/stooping/kneeling/bending
