About the role

We are seeking Sanitation Associates responsible for maintaining cleanliness and a food-safe environment in production areas, surrounding areas, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all food production equipment and machinery, including production machines, tables, mats, compost bins, sinks, drains, walls, and any scheduled surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize all kitting and packing equipment and surfaces.
• Operate the dish-machine as needed.
• Restock PPE such as hairnets, beard nets, gloves, face masks, and sleeve guards.
• Assist in inventory of all linens and uniforms.
• Handle, use, and safely manage all chemicals.
• Document job duties in work logs and follow the master schedule.
• Perform other tasks as directed by supervisors or managers.
• Adhere to all SSOP’s and Safety Regulations.
• Maintain regular and timely attendance.

Work Environment

This role operates in a cold, wet environment with exposure to chemicals. It requires standing, lifting, reaching, and twisting for 8 hours or until job completion. Employees may be exposed to fumes, airborne food particles, allergens, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. Safe handling of chemicals and appropriate PPE are mandatory.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, reach, and lift for up to 10 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Use hands to handle objects and tools.
• Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.

Pay

$18.75—$18.75 USD per hour

Schedule

• 1st shift: 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• 2nd shift: 2:15 PM to 12:45 AM
• 3rd shift: 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
