Sanitation Associate

Role Overview: Responsible for unloading products from trucks, breaking down pallets, and assisting with warehouse operations such as sanitation, inventory control, and product selection. May also fuel, wash, and clean semi-trucks/trailers based on the distribution center's needs. Key Duties Unload trucks, organize products onto pallets and warehouse racks.Handle cases, boxes, and pallets of various grocery and food products, ensuring proper placement.Assist with sanitation tasks, including cleaning warehouse areas and managing trash.Operate industrial equipment like pallet jacks and high-lift lifts, ensuring safety and maintenance.Check products for damage, verify quantities against purchase orders, and assist with order selection and palletizing.Lift heavy products safely, maintain a clean environment, and report issues or low stock levels.Participate in product rotation and other assigned duties, with additional responsibilities as needed. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Warehouse experience and prior equipment operation skills preferred.Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 pounds, and work in multi-temperature environments.Strong communication, reading, and basic arithmetic skills.Ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and adapt to changing work demands.Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Physical & Work Environment: Frequent sitting, walking, standing, and manual handling in a warehouse setting with moderate to high noise levels. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
