Sanitation 3RD Shift

About the role

Provide cleaning to plant facilities by using approved chemicals to disinfect surfaces, sanitize all components of food production and processing equipment, and ensure there is no unnecessary waste along the assembly line.

Responsibilities

• Clean soiled supplies and equipment used in the manufacturing process
• Maintain all buildings (administration, production, distribution) according to Company Policy
• Wash walls, ceilings, floors, remove trash, and disinfect refrigerator units and trash rooms
• Operate rack washer, power washer, steamer, washer extractors, and dryers
• Maintain supplies such as paper products for bathrooms and towel dispensers in all buildings
• Keep assigned work area clean and tidy at all times
• Report any potential contamination and suspicious activity to a supervisor or lead immediately
• Efficiently disassemble and assemble equipment for proper cleaning
• Adhere to all GMP guidelines in the performance of job duties
• Apply knowledge of chemical properties and proper use of cleaning solutions

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
• Ability to communicate and read labels in English (Bilingual preferred)
• Some cleaning experience required
• Attention to detail
• Physical stamina

Preferred Skills

• 1-3 years of sanitation experience preferred

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Works in a manufacturing facility
• Requires standing, bending, climbing, or walking 100% of the time
• Frequently twists, bends, and stoops when performing work tasks
• Frequently carries or lifts 25 pounds or more

Pay

$16.75 - $17.50 hourly
