Sanitation 3rd Shift

About the role

Quincy Street Inc., a growing and successful pork processor in Holland, Michigan, seeks a Quality Assurance Technician to support food safety verification and process capability studies. The role requires collecting accurate and timely data from plant processes to aid operational decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Cover motors, electrical plugs, and all computer equipment during sanitation
• Use a pressure hose to spray down all equipment
• Scour equipment with chemical as needed
• Clean pipes, walls, refrigeration units, and other plant areas
• Perform all work assigned by supervisor
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
• Ability to reach high and low levels frequently
• Ability to grip with wrist
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in cold temperatures within a damp environment
