Responsibilities
- Sandblasting pipe and skids in different configurations using a 2” high-pressure hose (air helmet provided).
- Painting pipe, metal buildings, and skids using 2-part epoxy-based paints and other acrylic 2-part paints with a respirator and PPE.
- Follow rules of safe conduct at all times.
- Identify, recognize, and demonstrate safe usage of hand tools and power tools appropriate for the job.
- Recognize various materials used in the craft and demonstrate appropriate material handling techniques.
- Select and safely use appropriate equipment, including (but not limited to) manlifts, forklifts, and company trucks.
Requirements
- Minimum reasoning ability typically required for this type of work.
- Extent Flexibility: Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
- Multi-limb Coordination: Ability to coordinate two or more limbs while sitting, standing, or lying down.
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to quickly move your hand, hand with arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
- Trunk Strength: Ability to use abdominal and lower back muscles repeatedly without fatiguing.
- Gross Body Equilibrium: Ability to maintain or regain body balance in unstable positions.
- Arm-Hand Steadiness: Ability to keep hand and arm steady while moving or holding in one position.
- Must pass pre-employment drug, background, and fit tests.
