Industrial Sandblaster/Painter

Location: Tigard, Oregon

About the role

This is a role where you will prep, sandblast, and apply protective coatings or finishes to surfaces such as machinery, equipment, infrastructure, buildings, and other industrial structures. The company primarily uses Air Assist and/or Airless applications.

Responsibilities

• Prep, sandblast, and apply protective coatings or finishes to industrial surfaces
• Read industrial blueprints
• Operate all spray equipment used in the plant
• Read and use Mill Thickness Gauges and other testing devices

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in industrial painting
• Experience applying paint and zinc-based coatings on steel
• Ability to read industrial blueprints
• Ability to operate all spray equipment used in the plant
• Reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Experience with Zinc is a plus
• Sandblasting skills are a plus
• Knowledge of thickness gauge
• Knowledge of performing a blotter test

Pay

$23 to $25+/hr to start, with performance increases.

Day shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
