Sanctions Compliance Officer

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on national sanctions programs to ensure full regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and enhance global sanctions standards, including embargoes, SPL screening, geoblocking, and related measures.
  • Monitor legal developments and assess their impact on business activities.
  • Support re-export control law processes, focusing on U.S. regulations.
  • Conduct export audits and risk data analysis.
  • Act as a liaison for business units, authorities, and central departments.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of global sanctions compliance experience with expertise in U.S. sanctions laws (OFAC).
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong influence, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to coordinate activities and work independently.
  • Knowledge of EU & UN sanctions laws (preferred).
  • Experience in export compliance within the automotive industry is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.
