San Marcos 03 (McCarty Ln) Grocery - Overnight Stocker - Part time

About the role

As a Night Stocker, you'll join a dynamic team in the Grocery or Drug Store department, fostering teamwork, and embracing the nightlife of the store. You'll gain exposure to various products and departments, setting a foundation for potential career growth within H-E-B.

Responsibilities

• Stocks shelves, refills displays
• Lifts, unloads, and moves heavy, bulky products; unloads trucks
• Conditions shelves and products
• Learns and applies product knowledge, ensuring compliance with A+ Standards
• Keeps the department clean and organized
• Enforces SOPs and follows leader's direction
• Works efficiently and collaboratively with a team
• Takes constructive feedback and applies it to future tasks
• May coach and train other Stockers
• Provides excellent customer service, assisting with product location and inquiries

Qualifications & Key Requirements

• Age Requirement: 18+
• Experience: Stocking and customer service experience preferred; experience in physically demanding jobs a plus
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Understanding of SOPs and emergency procedures; strong communication, organization, and customer service skills; ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Education/Licenses/Certifications: Forklift/power jack training upon hire
• Physical Demands: Fast-paced, demanding environment; constant reaching, standing, walking, bending; exposure to cold, loud noise, ambient temperatures, and wet conditions; ability to lift up to 100 lbs
