San Antonio 11 (Valley Hi /Loop 410) Grocery - Overnight Stocker - Part time

About the role

As a Night Stocker, you'll join a team in the Grocery or Drug Store department, where you'll stock shelves, load and unload trucks, and maintain a clean, organized work environment. You'll gain valuable experience in multiple departments and potentially build a career at H-E-B.

Responsibilities

• Stocks shelves and refills displays
• Learns and applies product knowledge to meet A+ Standards
• Ensures compliance with SOPs and leader direction
• Works efficiently and collaboratively with the team
• Manages multiple tasks and focuses on details
• Applies personal discipline to SOPs and leader direction
• Works overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays

Qualifications & Key Requirements

• Age Requirement: 18+
• Experience stocking and in customer service (preferred)
• Experience working in a physically demanding job a plus
• Understanding of SOPs / guidance related to emergency procedures, proper stocking, etc.
• Communication skills; reading / writing skills
• Organization and time-management skills
• Customer service skills; service mentality
• Ability to perform repetitive, physical tasks that sometimes include heavy lifting
• Ability to think on your feet and work with agility
• Ability to work as part of a team to meet nightly goals
• Close attention to detail
• Personal discipline to SOPs and leader direction
• Physical Demands & Working Conditions: Fast-paced, demanding Store environment; exposure to cold, loud noise, ambient temperatures, and wet conditions; ability to lift up to 100 lbs depending on department
