About the role
This position is within the Sample Prep Department on the 2nd shift (4:00 PM – 12:30 AM). You will perform sample preparation and analysis while adhering to strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Understand and follow Quality System documents (e.g., Quality Manual, SOPs, Methodologies).
- Adhere to ISO/IEC 17025, cGMP, GLP, and company quality requirements.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in at least one core method and conduct additional assigned methods with minimal supervision.
- Operate basic lab equipment and set up batches of samples for weighing and analysis.
- Perform timely and accurate sample analysis, including preparation, method execution, and data reduction.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including logbooks, BookMaster, and eLIMS entries.
- Identify samples requiring rechecks and report method/matrix/analytical difficulties with proposed solutions.
- Maintain clean glassware and prepare solutions for daily testing.
- Protect proprietary methodologies and disclose only as approved by management.
- Respond promptly to client, staff, and co-worker queries and needs.
- Stay current on technical, industry, and business advancements.
- Recommend improvements for laboratory equipment or procedures.
- Foster cooperative working relationships across departments.
- Uphold the company’s image through ethical business practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Responsive, independent problem solver with an action-oriented mindset.
- Associate degree or high school diploma with 0–3 years of relevant experience.
