About the Role

This position is within the Sample Prep Department on the 2nd shift (4:00 PM – 12:30 AM).

Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow Quality System documents, including Quality Manual, SOPs, and Methodologies.
  • Adhere to quality measures to meet ISO/IEC 17025, cGMP, GLP, and company requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in at least one core method and conduct additional assigned methods with minimal supervision.
  • Operate basic lab equipment within the department.
  • Set up and weigh sample batches accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform timely and accurate sample analysis, including preparation, method application, and data reduction.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, test data, and results in logbooks or eLIMS.
  • Identify samples requiring rechecks and report method/matrix/analytical difficulties with proposed solutions.
  • Maintain clean glassware and prepare solutions for daily testing.
  • Ensure proprietary methodologies are not disclosed without written approval.
  • Respond to client, staff, and co-worker queries and needs promptly.
  • Stay current on technical, industry, and business advancements.
  • Recommend improvements for laboratory equipment or procedures.
  • Foster cooperative working relationships with all employees through clear oral and written communication.
  • Promote the company’s image through ethical business practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a responsive, independent problem-solving approach.
  • Associate degree or high school diploma with 0-3 years of relevant experience.
