Sample Associate, Warehouse

About the role

The Sample Associate is part of the Distribution Center team. This role contributes to the success of the company by inspecting all outbound sample products and shipments for the end user are in excellent condition. The Sample Associate supports our vision by being dedicated and committed to versatility and excellence in all we produce.

Major Duties Include

• Completes sample activities for outbound orders and replies to the Sales Customer Service team in a timely manner
• Completes daily sample warehouse bin replenishments
• Completes daily assigned cycle counts
• Transfers all inspected inventory to its corresponding bin in the Sample Warehouse on a daily or as needed basis
• Affords assistance to Sample Sr. Specialist with bar code printing or product inspection as needed
• Affords assistance to the Sample Sr. Specialist in returning unused items to their assigned bins and completes the transfer in SAP
• Receives sample inventory from factories and stocks them in their assigned bins
• Affords assistance to Pickers in locating products in the Sample Warehouse
• Communicates to Managers when there are high instances of products that do not meet minimum standards for the Sample Warehouse
• Repacks and processes production orders to convert into -SPL
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment in the assigned aisle or areas
• Affords assistance with container offloading and any other warehouse duties
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education, Experience & Computer Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1+ years’ experience in warehouse, QC or related environment
• Experience with Warehouse Management System, SAP B1, and handheld devices
• Basic understanding of computer programs
• Familiar with WMS, SAP Business One

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this role, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, talk and hear.
• The team member frequently is required to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• The team member is frequently required to sit;
• The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Team Members may also need to pull or push 800lbs pallet jacks.
