SAM Operator 3rd Shift (12:00am - 8:00am Monday - Friday) $26.00/hr. + $1.00/hr. Shift Differential

Earn up to a $1,000 recruiting bonus ($500 after 90 days and $500 after 6 months). Based in New Bedford, MA, this 3rd Shift SAM Operator position requires reading and comprehending production standards, safety procedures, and maintenance instructions. Key responsibilities include operating and observing machinery, identifying product quality, collaborating with colleagues, and maintaining a clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend production Standard Work, all safety procedures, and Maintenance instructions.
• Operate and observe machinery during production.
• Identify acceptable or unacceptable product quality to customer requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goals.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent education and experience strongly preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Must have the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Physical requirements include a variety of standing, sitting, and walking throughout the day. Must be capable of lifting, pulling, or pushing at least 50 lbs.
• Maintain basic skills for safe operation as required by job tasks.
• Keep working area neat and orderly.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications
