Responsibilities

• Lead the team, manage salon operations, and provide haircuts as needed.
• Coach and develop a team of stylists to help them grow their skills and confidence.
• Manage day-to-day salon operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
• Deliver a winning vibe and help build a strong team culture.
• Ensure consistent income and avoid upselling pressure, commission stress, or competition for walk-ins.
• Receive leadership and technical training to help you confidently lead your teams.

Requirements

• A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province).
• Strong technical haircutting skills and the ability to help others grow their skills and confidence.
• Proven leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility.
• Excellent communication skills and the desire to motivate, develop, and support a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage day-to-day salon operations.
• Comfort with technology and salon tools (scheduling systems, metrics, and reports).
• A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on team performance and customer experience.
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience is helpful but not always required.
• The balance between administrative time and floor time varies by location and reflects the specific needs of the salon.

Pay

This is a high-paying leadership role. Wage plus bonuses will earn you between $27–$37 per hour.
