Responsibilities

• Lead the salon team and manage day-to-day operations
• Hire, train, and develop stylists
• Create and manage schedules
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Deliver haircuts and salon services as needed
• Monitor and drive salon performance, including metrics and reports
• Use technology and tools to streamline operations (e.g., scheduling systems)
• Motivate, coach, and support a team of stylists
• Build a strong team culture and foster collaboration

Requirements

• A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
• Strong technical haircutting skills and the ability to help others grow their skills and confidence
• Proven leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility
• Excellent communication skills and the desire to motivate, develop, and support a team
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage day-to-day salon operations
• Comfort with technology and salon tools (e.g., scheduling systems, metrics, and reports)
• A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on team performance and customer experience
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
