About the role

Join a locally owned Great Clips® salon team as a Salon Manager. This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll split your time between cutting hair on the floor and handling administrative tasks off the floor. You’ll make tips, lead and support a team, and help the salon run at its best. Start as a Stylist and train to become a Salon Manager with the support of our leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of stylists
• Manage day-to-day salon operations and administrative tasks
• Deliver haircuts and other salon services to customers
• Coach and develop stylists to grow their skills and confidence
• Use salon technology (scheduling systems, metrics, reports) to streamline operations
• Foster a strong team culture and ensure a positive customer experience

Requirements

• Valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
• Strong technical haircutting skills
• Proven leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Comfort with technology and salon tools
• Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on team performance
