Responsibilities
- Lead the team, manage salon operations, and provide services to customers.
- Split your time between salon management responsibilities and providing services to customers.
- Balance administrative time and floor time based on the specific needs of the salon.
- Deliver haircuts, depending on salon needs.
Requirements
- A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province).
- Strong technical haircutting skills and the ability to help others grow their skills and confidence.
- Proven leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills and the desire to motivate, develop, and support a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage day-to-day salon operations.
- Comfort with technology and salon tools (scheduling systems, metrics, and reports).
- A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on team performance and customer experience.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Qualifications
To join a Great Clips salon team as a Salon Manager, you’ll need:
- A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province).
