Responsibilities

• Set the tone for a team that runs on real systems.
• Lead the team, manage salon operations, and deliver haircuts, depending on salon needs.
• Provide leadership and technical training to help grow skills, the team, and the salon.
• Coach, develop, and motivate a team of stylists.
• Manage day-to-day salon operations and ensure clear systems and expectations are in place.
• Use salon technology such as Online Check-In and the Great Clips App to streamline operations.

Requirements

• A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province).
• Strong technical haircutting skills and the ability to help others grow their skills and confidence.
• Proven leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility.
• Excellent communication skills and the desire to motivate, develop, and support a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage day-to-day salon operations.
• Comfort with technology and salon tools (scheduling systems, metrics, and reports).
• A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on team performance and customer experience.
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Pay

$17.50/hr base plus tips, averaging $31.50–$41.50/hr total.

Schedule

• Weekday shifts: 9:00 A.M.–2:30 P.M. or 2:30 P.M.–7:00 P.M.
• Weekend shifts: 9:00 A.M.–6:00 P.M., plus an extra 1:00 P.M.–6:00 P.M. shift
